In Celebration of

Cyril Binns Walker

September 14, 1946 -  December 16, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Cyril Walker at the age of 74 surrounded by his family on December 16, 2020. He leaves his wife Ocia Walker, sons Devon, Collin, Alphonso and Wayne, daughter Audrey, grandchildren Justin, Natasha, Ciera, Lathan, Tricia, and Tavia. Great grandchildren Kymani and Jasmine, Brother Joslin Walker (Toronto), Sister Joyce Marshall (London, UK), and many relatives and friends. A private service will be held for the immediate family and a celebration of his life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence will be greatly appreciated.

Cyril and I met shortly after arriving here from Jamaica in1967, it was as if he came here to be with me. We had a lot in common, we had the same interests and goals. The rest is history.

Cyril was not only my husband, but a father, a brother an uncle and most of all, my best friend. He and I loved to dance, so we had a lot of fun together. Cyril has always put his family first, and he was always ready to share with others.

Cyril taught his children, and grandchildren to swim. He tried to teach me to swim and gave up. Cyril liked people and he showed it, he taught us how to reach out to others.

We will always remember Cyril, and I will not be able to do anything around the house without thinking about him.

Cyril’s death wasn’t sudden, but no one is ever ready for someone dear to leave, especially in the case of death. We were together for 53 years and married for 51. We celebrated our 51st wedding anniversary on December 6th, 2020.

Cyril is in a better place. May he REST IN PEACE.

Love Ocia

Funeral will be held on January 9th, 2021 at 12 p.m. on Zoom at:
