On May 17, 2022, peacefully in her eighty-ninth year. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Dr. Donald and Michelle (Gravel) Whelan. She was a loving and spirited mother to her three girls: Sue Goyette (Pete Munro), Pam Goyette (Dave Hamill) and Lori DeBlois (Brian DeBlois). She was the dear nanny of Ryan Murphy (Kylie), Robyn Murphy (Matt), Jordan Underwood (Sidney), Meghan Underwood (Mike), Henri and Charlie DeBlois. Auntie to Greg, Scott, Matt, and Alex and their families. Carolyn worked for many years at Bell Canada and Eaton’s and made many good friends at Club 55 in St. Bruno where she was an active community member for over fifty years. She enjoyed traveling, sitting in her backyard and doing her puzzles. She grew enviable peonies and was known for her wit and her kindness. Carolyn’s life will be celebrated at a later date. Special thanks to the good care she received from the staff at Pierre Boucher Hospital. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn would have loved the idea of acts of kindness performed in her memory.
