After a beautiful life, Carmel peacefully passed away with family by her side at the age of 91 on Monday, November 18th, 2019. She will be greatly missed by her children Beverley (Patrick Makinson), Gary (Kim Parker), David, and daughter-in-law Diane Zakaib. Loving Grams of Brittany, Valerie, Courtney (Vlad Ivanov), Ashley and Jason. She also leaves behind brother-in-law Joe DiSalvia, many nieces and nephews, and her life long best friend, Mary Wilson. She was predeceased by her siblings Marguerite (John Sexton), John (Ann Lyng), and Mary. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at M. A. Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Ave. (corner Stuart), Park Extension at 11 AM.
