Brinda Isings

October 9, 1960 -  June 26, 2017

C'est avec une très grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Brinda Isings, au jeune âge de 56 ans, entourée de son mari et ses enfants, survenu le 26 juin 2017 suite à un long combat envers le cancer. Elle demeurait à Baar en Suisse depuis 2013.
Elle fut une mère et une épouse exceptionnelle, dédiée à sa chère famille et dotée d’une détermination sans pareil envers toute tâche entreprise. Elle adorait vraiment les enfants et avait toujours un mot doux pour ses nombreux neveux et nièces. Lors de ses activités professionnelles, elle démontrait quotidiennement son intégrité et était une collègue dévouée à l’excellence de son travail ainsi qu’à l’harmonie d’équipe pour ceux et celles qui ont œuvré avec elle.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Martin Lemieux, sa fille Adrianna et son fils Éric, sa mère Gwen, son père Jan, ses sœurs, frères, belles-sœurs et beaux-frères Kim (Guy Brunet), Tanya Lumsden (Craig), Marco (Suzanne), Cliff (Cynthia Fitzmaurice) et Alex (Erin), sa belle-sœur et beaux-frères de la famille Lemieux, Mireille (Daniel Bergeron), Pierre (Monique Valade) et Richard (feu Josée Lallemand), et de très nombreux neveux et nièces, parents et amis.
Sa famille tient à sincèrement remercier le personnel médical de l’Hôpital Universitaire de Zurich, notamment le Dr. Dummer et son équipe, le docteur Mach de l’Hôpital Universitaire de Genève, l’infirmière de soins palliatifs à domicile Evi Ketterer ainsi que le personnel du Centre Palliatif Villa Sonnenberg de Affoltern am Albis qui l’ont tous supportée jusqu’à la fin de son combat. Au lieu de fleurs, vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à La Société canadienne du cancer.

L’inhumation privée en famille aura lieu le 28 juillet à 11 h, au cimetière de Saint-Anicet, sur le Chemin du Cimetière près de la 68e avenue.
Elle nous manquera terriblement. Repose en paix, Brinda.


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brinda Isings on June 26, 2017 at the age of 56, in a peaceful setting with her husband, son and daughter by her side, and following a long and hard fought battle against cancer. She lived in Baar, Switzerland since 2013.
She was an exceptional spouse and mother, dedicated to her dear family and had an unparalleled determination to everything she did. She truly loved children and always had a sweet word for her numerous nieces and nephews. During her professional career, she demonstrated integrity and was a hard working colleague for those who knew her, devoted to the excellence of her work and ensuring cooperation with others.
She leaves behind her husband Martin Lemieux, her daughter Adrianna and her son Eric, her mother Gwen, her father Jan, her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law Kim (Guy Brunet), Tanya Lumsden (Craig), Marco (Suzanne), Cliff (Cynthia Fitzmaurice) and Alex (Erin), her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Lemieux family Mireille (Daniel Bergeron), Pierre (Monique Valade) and Richard (late Josée Lallemand) and many many nieces, nephews, parents and friends.
Her family would like to sincerely thank the medical personnel of the Zurich University Hospital, especially the Dr. Dummer and his devoted team, Dr. Mach of the Geneva University Hospital, the palliative home care Nurse Evi Ketterer and the Affoltern am Albis Palliative Care Center for their tremendous support in her battle until the end. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, July 25 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Trans-Canada Highway, Senneville, Quebec, H9X 3L7, Tel: (514) 457-4440, Email: belvedere@mountroyalcem.com.
The private burial with family only will be on July 28 at 11 a.m., at the Saint-Anicet cemetery on Chemin du Cimetière near the 68th avenue.
She will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Brinda.
