Anne Crevier

Sarah Anne Crevier (MacGillivray), 103, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday June 19th, 2019 in Montreal.
Born in Antigonish (Maryvale), Nova Scotia, she was the eldest daughter of Ronald Hugh MacGillivray and Mary Anne (MacDougall) MacGillivray.
Anne obtained her Medical, Surgical and Obstetrical Nursing Degree from St. Martha's School of Nursing in 1939 and soon joined the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps with the rank of Lieutenant (Nursing Sister). While serving in 1942 she met her future husband, Henry (Hank) Marcel Crevier, who was also an officer in the Army. They settled in Montreal where they raised two sons, Paul and David. She was known for her strength, calm demeanor, kindness and ability to make friends.
She is survived by her sons, Paul and David Crevier (Leslie Bronstetter), granddaughters Alexandra (Simon Mihajlovic) and Sarah Crevier, great grandson James Mihajlovic, sister Elizabeth (Jake) Hammerslag and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Hank in 1973, as well as by her siblings Hugh, Grant, Ronald, Frank, Mary, Vincent, Katherine, Donny and Collin.
Family will receive condolences on Tuesday June 25th from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of the:
