In Celebration of

Anastasia Sergis (née Koukourakis)

April 6, 1933 -  May 27, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved angel Anastasia Sergis, née Koukourakis on May 27 2022 at the age of 89.

Cherished wife of the late Demetre Sergis, mother of Michael & Margarita, sister of Demetre & the late Johnny Koukourakis, beloved aunt & friend of many.

Her love of life, goodness of heart, illuminating smile, contagious laugh and touch of compassion will remain etched in the hearts of all that were blessed to have known her.

The viewing will take place on thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9, between 10 AM & Noon. The funeral service will follow at Noon in the small chapel of the complex. Coffee will be offered after the burial in the reception hall from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.

Her words of wisdom were to love everyone no matter their faults, because she herself was love.

In this respect in lieu of flowers the family requests that you offer an act of kindness to someone in need.

I offer my sincere condolences to the immediate family of Anastasia Sergis. I remember when Aunt Tasoula came to my sister’s wedding and she was the life of the reception party! It was fun watching a woman in her mid 70’s at the time enjoying herself and the company of others. Guys half her age had trouble keeping up with her on the dance floor. Aunt Tasoula truly enjoyed life. God rest her soul.
