In Celebration of

Alfreda "Freda" Lebreton

December 16, 1930 -  April 15, 2020

The morning of April 15 2020, Alfreda Lebreton passed away after a short battle against the COVID 19 at the CHSLD of St-Andrews, Montreal. She leaves in mourning, her son Patrick Hagenaar, daughter Jacqueline Hagenaar and her grandchildren Thomas Hayes, Philippe Hayes (both children of Anne-Marie Hagenaar), Elisa Jacques, François Jacques (both children of Roseline Jacques) and Eva (daughter of Jacqueline Hagenaar). After 89 years of life on our earth, she has left us to join her two daughters Anne-Marie Hagenaar and Roseline Hagenaar. Alfreda Lebreton was the daughter of George Lebreton and Marie-Jeanne Kenny of St.-Rose, New Brunswick.
Nurse, mother of four children and artist, she forged her life with resourcefulness and autonomy. These qualities were transmitted to her children, so that in turn they could follow their destiny. It is with painting and art that she lived her creative years on earth.
Mom, we wish you peace in your final rest.

I will always remember the days we would go to New Brunswick camping, seeing your relations and having great lobster feasts!! As well as my younger days when I was in girl guides and you would take me to the meetings and camps willingly. I wish your life could have been a lot more pleasant these last five years. Say hi to Anne Marie and Roseline for me. A big hug to all three!!!

It’s with a sad heart to see that tante Alfred has passed.
We have fond memories of travelling to N.B. with my parents George’s and Maria and
stopping at the house on route.
Our prayers are with the family at this time.

Your mother will be surely missed at St-Andrew.
I was blessed to have known her for 7 years.
May her soul rest in peace.
