Corinne,
Thanks for letting me know about your Mom, and I am very sorry to
learn the news.

Marc was here last Saturday, and told me how frail she was - and that
he felt the recovery possibilities were slim. He was describing how
continuous were her health problems, which strongly impaired her
quality of life.

I know it's not easy to lose a parent and a mother, especially in a
family like yours where the bonds are so strong. However, you will be
consoled by the fact that she and your father were able to be with you
for a long time after the family settled in Canada. Your parents and
your family are like kin to me, and I wish you and all yours including
your siblings my deepest sympathy. I'll be waiting for the news of the
funeral arrangements, as Jocelyn and I would want to pay our respects
to your mother, whom we feel privileged to have known.

Clifford Lincoln.
