In Celebration of

Walter Joseph Broz

January 20, 1927 -  March 13, 2021

Joe passed away peacefully on March 13th, 2021, in his 94th year. Born in Pribram Czechoslovakia, he immigrated to Canada in 1951 to finish his engineering degree at the University of Toronto, and moved to Montreal in 1954.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Iva Kohoutek, his two sons Ivan (LynnTwigger) and Michael (Isabelle Jodoin) and his adored grandchildren Nicholas, Laura, Xavier, Ariane, Katia, and his first great-grandson Harrison whom he never saw because of Covid, as well as many friends all over the world.

He worked 30 years for CN and his favorite hobbies were tennis, skiing, and lots of travel. He loved Quebec, Montreal and was a proud Canadian.

Due to meeting restrictions, a ceremony in his memory will be held in private. However, you will be able to attend the funeral live or on replay from Saturday March 27th, 2021 at 3 pm, via the webcast at the following link: https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/26233

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
