Vera Lillian Mary Boxell (nee Geisler)

March 18, 1924 - March 3, 2020

Peacefully on March 3, 2020 in her 96th year at Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe Claire.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Boxell and loved Mother of John (Sue) of Wellington, ON and Bob of Aylmer, QC; much loved Grandmother of Cindy and Gareth Evans-Boxell, and Anthony and David (Jessica) Boxell; beloved Great-Grandmother of Meaghan and Brandon McDonald and David and Arianna Evans, dear sister to Dorothy Samways of Edmonton, Alberta. Vera will be missed by her many relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday March 12, 2020, at 11 am at The Anglican Church of All Saints by the Lake, 865 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval QC.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the West Island SPCA, 3658 Route de la Cite des Jeunes, Vaudreuil-Dorion QC J7V 8P2, or to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.

Even though we weren't in contact much due to distance she was still loved dearly. She will be missed. My last visit with her was when Dad and I went out when Uncle Bill passed. Sending condolences to all who knew this wonderful woman.
