CANTWELL, Valerie Beaudin, Ile Miscou 1930 - Montreal 2018.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our amazing mother, Valerie. She leaves the world having shared her great heart and laughter with all the lives she touched. Her wisdom will be passed on through the generations that follow.

Valerie Beaudin Cantwell was born on Miscou Island, NB on October, 12, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Henry Beaudin and Laura Gauthier and was one of fifteen children. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Cantwell and her siblings, Emanuel, Ruth, Lynn and Morris. She leaves behind her five daughters, Bonnie (Domenic), Lee (Tom), Jamie (Danny), Elizabeth (Michael) , Cathy (Jamie), as well as her beloved grandchildren Sarah, Stephane, Lisa, Emilie, Kaylee, Andrew, Matthew, Veronica, Megan and her great-grandson Henry. We hope there is a great party in heaven, as our mother enjoyed bringing people together and she did so with pizzazz.

Visitations will be held at Complexe Funeraire Belvedere, 22025 Route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 12 p.m., followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers if you wish make a donation in memory of our mother we suggest the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice or do a kind deed for someone in need.
