In Celebration of

Timothy George Gray Ramsay

May 31, 1970 -  September 11, 2019

Timothy George Gray Ramsay, born May 31, 1970, beloved brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, passed away September 11, 2019. Predeceased by his father, GM (Mac) Ramsay, and his mother, Patricia Husband, Tim is survived by his sister, Susan Ramsay-McKitrick.

Tim grew up in Calgary skiing, skateboarding, camping, playing guitar and enjoying his many friends—some of which he remained close with until his death. After high school, Tim obtained his private pilot’s license and was working towards his commercial license by taking various jobs around Canada and the United States. In order to pay for this education he spent many years working as a DJ in several Calgary establishments. He loved this profession and excelled at it.

Eventually, Tim left Calgary for Vancouver where he reconnected with his mother and step-father. Years later, Tim was invited by family to join them in Montreal. He jumped at the new opportunity and moved to Montreal in December 2017. He enjoyed the hospitality of family and friends and exploring his new home.

Tim had many interests: his brilliant mind couldn’t ever get enough of aviation; he enjoyed meteorology, world events, historical perspectives, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Comics and...he was a huge Star Wars fan!Tim was a very sensitive and kind-hearted person. He was a generous gift-giver and quick to offer encouragement to anyone around him.

He will be dearly missed by his sister Susan, his brother-in-law, Charles, his two nephews, James and Elijah, his aunt Linda, and his cousins, Christianne, Ben and Phillipe.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday October 26th at 5 pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, H2V 2P9, 514-279-6540.
