In Celebration of

Tabah Joseph

July 29, 1941 -  April 23, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Tabah in Montreal at the age of 81, the son of the late George and Sue Tabah (Sadaka) and the brother of the late Diane Majdell (Tabah and the wife of the late Ronald Majdell).

He leaves to mourn his wife, Monique Jobidon, his cherished daughter, Carolyn (Philippe), brother Richard (Vesna), sister Doris (the late Guy LaPalme), nieces Lynn and Liane (Meni), nephews Gary and Mark (Maral), cousins Robert, Theodore and Karen Sadaka.

Joe will be remembered as a devoted father, uncle, friend, and member of the community. Joe was a kind and generous spirit who lived a full life. He had a heart of gold and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his life.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to l'Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur and the medical staff from the emergency, intensive care and pulmonary department, who provided extraordinary care to Joe during his illness. A special thank you to Dr. Lafond whose dedication and hard work helped provide comfort and support during a difficult time.

A funeral service will be held on May 5, 2023 at Mount Royal Funeral
Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, starting with visitation from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by the mass. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Fondation de l'Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur-de-Montréal or to Saint Nicholas Antiochian church at 514-270-9788.

Rest in peace dad. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
