On Saturday November 26, 2022, our beloved Shirley passed away at Jean Talon Hospital aged 82.

She is predeceased by her parents Kiku and Hisajiro, her brothers Fred (late Kikuko), Jack, Johnny (late Julie), her sisters Hatsuye (late Ed Bull) and Dorothy (late Sam Ishihara). She is survived by her sisters Kimiye and Margaret (late Mucka Makimoto) and also by her brothers Thomas and Kenneth, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Service will be held at a later date.

In her memory, donations may be made to Montreal Buddhist Church or the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre of Montreal, both at 8155 Rousselot, Montreal, QC, H2E 1Z7.
