In Celebration of

Roland Honiball

November 16, 1928 -  May 9, 2017

With great sadness we announce that Roland (Buddy to his family & Ron to his work colleagues) at the age of 88 died peacefully with dignity on May 9, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Berrill (Bee) – February 1, 1984.

Survived by son Richard, grandchildren – Louise (Tom) – great-granddaughter Kaydence, all of Calgary, Alberta & Davis (Kristin) and great-granddaughter Isla & twins, girl and boy to make an appearance sometime during June of 2017, all of Angus, Ontario. Survived by sister Shirley Doyle (Jimmy) of Sainte-Dorothée, Québec. Shirley and Jimmy’s thoughtfulness and compassion during this trying time is beyond appreciated and long-time friend & neighbor, Madame Rollande Letarte whose friendship and support over many years has been a comfort that he held very close to his heart.

Predeceased by sisters June, Willa and brother Richard (Dick) and parents Louisa and Charles Roland.

A very special thank-you goes to the caregivers at Le centre d'hébergement Rose-de-Lima, St. Rose, Québec for the care and kindness during his stay there.

His quiet and kind manner will be sorely missed. His final message to us all was: “What cannot be cured must be endured”

To be buried beside his much-loved wife Bee at the Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal. No service by request.
