Roger Peace

May 4, 1936 -  February 10, 2017

Roger Peace passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 leaving several plays unfinished and lyrics without music. Roger was a well-known local producer, director, choreographer, playwright and entertainer. He performed on a several television shows such as Ed Sullivan and worked with numerous celebrities including Marlene Dietrich, Bette Davis, Jimmy Durante, Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner, Rob Lowe, Jodie Foster and Donald Sutherland. As a playwright he penned several works including “Piaf: Loves Conquers All”, which is currently playing in England. Locally he produced plays at La Diligence with Harry Rubin and most recently with Alan Sandler. He directed well-known local artists such as Ranee Lee, Patsy Gallant, Michelle Sweeney and Geraldine Doucet. Roger is survived by his partner and husband of nearly 40 years, Pierre-Paul Tellier, and his two puppies, Bailey and Barroux. He wished to thank all those who helped with his care during this last year. At his request there will be no funeral but there will be a memorial, a show, to celebrate his life at a date to be announced. You can make donations in his memory to Head and Hands. Roger is looking forward to Act III.
