Robert Samuel Caine

June 16, 1929 - January 15, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Samuel Caine, better known as Bob, on January 15, 2018, at the age of 88. He was a very respected business man in the area rug industry and biggest innovator in printed rugs, in which he had a great passion for and was well known worldwide. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Hanny Kaufmann Caine and his two daughters Tracey-Ann and Michele Carolyn, also by his granddaughters Stefanie Larsen and Jessica Gionta.

Funeral will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dans la Rue or to the Old Brewery Mission would be appreciated.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Bob’s passing. I feel fortunate that I was able to spend a couple days with him in October and will hold on to those memories. My thoughts are with Hanny, Michelle, Tracey and Bob’s brother Owen today as you say good-by and for all the days that follow may you find comfort in your memories.
