Lovely photo of your Mum, David. Our sincere condolences to you, Sylvie, your wonderful children, grandchildren, and extended and growing family. You and Sylvie and your family were so devoted to her well being, for which I am certain she was very thankful indeed. I know it is a comfort she is at peace and reunited with all who loved her. We shall see you Friday.
With our love,
Rod and Ann
Our condolences on the passing of a Mom and matriarch. She must have been very proud of her wonderful family. Our prayers go out.
Rita was the loveliest, most gentle and gracious aunt there was. While we lived far away, I always remember her soft voice and the visits to the west coast. She'll forever be fondly remembered. To David, Lynne and Guy and all your family members: hugs, prayers and deepest sympathies as well as wishes for happiness in your fond memories of your mom.
It was wonderful to see this vibrant photo of your Mom. God Bless her!
Lynne and I met at Hillcrest High School in Ottawa, and became close friends, including another wonderful person: Jane Purchase. We three grew into adulthood watching each other's backs, and sharing marvellous sleepovers at my house. After Doug and I were married, we often stayed at Rita's when we were visiting Lynne and Yves in Hudson. Rita was always warm, loving and welcoming, and she had so much class. I admired her tremendously, and I think her gentle, loving nature is what I remember the most. Thank you for those loving supportive years, dear Rita, and the wonderful memories.
