Le 5 janvier 2021, à la maison de soins palliatifs Source Bleue de Boucherville, est décédé à l'âge de 89 ans, Monsieur Pietro Sarai, époux de feu Maria Pia Prevedello.

Prédécédé par ses frères Silvio, Pompeo et Adriano, il laisse dans le deuil ses deux filles bien-aimées Diana (Jean-Pierre) et Rossana (Peter), ses petits-enfants adorés Sabrina (Dany) et Stefano (Alisia), ses sœurs Delia et Dorina, ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis au Canada et à l’étranger.

Pietro a quitté l’Italie, son pays natal, en 1950 pour se construire une vie à Montréal, où il a fondé une famille. Il était un bon vivant, il aimait la danse, la musique, le bon vin, ses voyages en Italie pour voir la famille et ses séjours à Cape Cod et dans le Sud. De nature sociale, il aimait plus que tout, les repas en famille et entre amis.

In celebration of

PIETRO SARAI
April 8, 1931 - January 5, 2021


It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Pietro Sarai, husband of the late Maria Pia Prevedello. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Source Bleue Palliative Care Center in Boucherville on January 5, 2021.

He was predeceased by his brothers Silvio, Pompeo and Adriano and is survived by his beloved daughters Diana (Jean-Pierre) and Rossana (Peter), his cherished grandchildren Sabrina (Dany) and Stefano (Alisia), his sisters Delia and Dorina, as well as many relatives and friends in Canada and abroad.

In 1950, Pietro left Italy, his native country, to build a life in Montreal and start a family. He was a connoisseur of good food and wine, he loved dancing, music, frequent travels to Italy to see his relatives and vacations to Cape Cod and the South. He was a social person who enjoyed more than anything gathering with family and friends to share a meal.

Il 5 gennaio 2021, presso la casa di cure palliative Source Bleue di Boucherville, è venuto a mancare all'età di 89 anni, il signor Pietro Sarai, vedovo di Maria Pia Prevedello.

Fratello di fu Silvio, fu Pompeo e fu Adriano, lascia nel dolore le sue amate figlie Diana (Jean-Pierre) e Rossana (Peter), i suoi adorati nipoti Sabrina (Dany) e Stefano (Alisia), le sue sorelle Delia e Dorina, oltre a tanti parenti e amici in Canada e all'estero.

Pietro ha lasciato l'Italia nel 1950 per costruirsi una vita a Montreal, dove ha fondato una famiglia. Era un conoscitore del buon cibo e del buon vino, amava ballare, la musica, i suoi viaggi in Italia per vedere i parenti e suoi soggiorni a Cape Cod e nel sud. Di natura socievole, amava più di ogni altra cosa condividere un pranzo con la famiglia e gli amici.
