In Celebration of

Philip Lambertucci

February 14, 1940 -  April 6, 2022

Peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, Philip Lambertucci passed away surrounded by those he loved; wife Mireille, son Peter, daughter Donna (Larry), and brother Bob (June). He is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher, and Molly.

Philip enjoyed a long career in the steel industry, and was a pioneer in steel galvanizing. His expertise and contribution to improving infrastructure safety and durability remain best practices to this day.

From the 1950’s through the 1980’s Philip was active in the community, served the Ville Emard Boys Club, the Anglican Church of Canada, president of the Junior Board of Trade (Jaycees), a member of the Metallurgy association and successfully campaigned for a new high school for English-speaking students in Deux Montagnes, where he served as a city councilman.

Phil was an avid golfer, found on the links as soon as the snow melted. He loved to sail, and meticulously maintained a series of beloved sail boats. He and Mireille also cherished their time together at their vacation home in Florida.

The family wishes to express our profound appreciation, thanks and respect to the Vaudreuil CLSC Soins a Domicile team and the staff and volunteers of Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their extraordinary care and genuine empathy during a difficult time.

Philip will be interred in a private ceremony with immediate family. There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, Quebec.
