It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Philip at the age of 87 years. Born in Montreal, Quebec to father Charles Johnston and mother Laura Fiset. Predeceased by his beloved wife Norma May (nee Weeks). Loving father of Cynthia and Cheryl. A proud grandfather, he is survived by his treasured grandchildren Dale (Louise), Kirsten (Chris), Justin (Sandra), Daniel (Christina) and their respective fathers, and his great-grandchildren Jaxson, Nolan and Simon, who were the joy of his life. Lovingly remembered by his nieces Lorraine, Susan (Lorne) and Jackie (Ted), whom he loved as daughters, and by all of their children and their parents Bruno and Phyllis Dansereau. Together, his five girls were his "Little Women." Predeceased by his siblings Gay, Paul, Charlie and Lorraine. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Greatly missed by his lifelong friends Ben Benatti, Fern Dmuchalsky and Mary Twynam. To those who knew him, Philip was an avid traveller, golfer, and film and music connoisseur. A memorial service and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 27 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC.
