Paule Potvin

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Madame Paule Potvin, fille de feu l’honorable juge Cyrille Potvin et de feu Dame Gilberte Otis, survenu à Montréal le 9 juin 2020.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son très cher mari, Monsieur Robert Stephen Lefebvre, ainsi que sa très chère fille, Dr. Marie-Astrid Lefebvre, et son gendre, Monsieur Rami Korban. Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs, Michèle Potvin et Marie Potvin (Claude Bouchard) ainsi que ses nièces et neveux, Marie-Josée Bélanger (Bruce Scruggs), Jean-Mathieu Potvin (Siham Barakat), Monica Potvin (Markel Otaola), Tatiana Potvin et Philippe Bouchard (Lucie Maestri).
Nous tenons à remercier de tout cœur le personnel médical et infirmier du Centre universitaire de santé McGill pour leur professionnalisme et, surtout, pour avoir soigné notre chère Paule avec dignité et délicatesse.
Compte tenu de la pandémie en cours, une cérémonie intime aura lieu avec ses proches dans les prochains jours. Lorsque les circonstances le permettront, nous organiserons une réception pour rendre hommage à notre très chère Paule.
Nous apprécierions que toute marque de sympathie se traduise non pas par des fleurs mais par un don à Cancer pulmonaire Canada en la mémoire de Madame Paule Potvin.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Paule Potvin, daughter of the late Honourable Judge Cyrille Potvin and the late Gilberte Otis.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Mr. Robert Stephen Lefebvre, her cherished daughter Dr. Marie-Astrid Lefebvre as well as her son-in-law Mr. Rami Korban. She also leaves behind her sisters Michèle Potvin and Marie Potvin (Claude Bouchard), as well as her nieces and nephews: Marie-Josée Bélanger (Bruce Scruggs), Jean-Mathieu Potvin (Siham Barakat), Monica Potvin (Markel Otaola), Tatiana Potvin and Philippe Bouchard (Lucie Maestri).
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the medical and nursing staff of the McGill University Health Centre for their professionalism and the outstanding care they provided to our beloved Paule.
Given the current pandemic, a private ceremony with close family will take place in the coming days. When the circumstances will permit, a reception to honour our dear Paule will be organized.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lung Cancer Canada in the memory of Mrs. Paule Potvin.
