Paul was an amazing friend and volunteer at the New Hope Senior Citizens' Centre in N.D.G. Even when not volunteering Paul would come by for a laugh and a coffee. I am going to miss him!! Condolences to all of Paul's family and friends.

I’ll never forget meeting Paul as he walked in at Newhope just when Gerry and I were discussing the urgent need for a meals on wheels driver for Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Paul just happened to walk in during this time and asked me if we needed a volunteer driver and he specified meals on wheels.
I couldn’t believe this coincidence and he also told us he was a retired police officer and I jokingly said well should I still do a police check on you as this is the policy for volunteer recruitment and he laughed and said go ahead you’ll only hear stories about my adventures. Of course I liked him immediately and he became one of our most valued meals on wheels volunteer. He was friendly with everyone including members, volunteers and staff. His heart was full of love and caring for others. My heart goes out to Paul’s family and friends. May you be spared further sorrow.

I knew Paul for 10 years at New Hope Senior Citizens Center and he was the perfect gentleman to everyone and so easy going. I will miss the chats we used to have almost every week. He was a very gracious man.
