Maria Vitoria Monteiro David, peacefully passed away on September 12, 2018 at the age of 101.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Epifanio Henriques David. Vóvó, as she was lovingly referred to by her family, will be sadly missed by her children, Manuel and Teresa (Antonio), grandchildren Paulo (Dina) and Alexandra (Jamie), and great-grandchildren Finlay, Vaughn, Abigail, and Lane. As well as by her nieces, Luisa and Annabelle, their families, and by her friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 2-3PM, followed by a mass and an inurnment from 3-4PM.at the

Vóvó was a gentle lady and kean observer who took great joy in her family, and loved chatting one-on-one with those around her. She was an avid reader, a talented seamstress, and prolific knitter and crocheter. Vóvó was masterful in the kitchen, and loved having her family gathered around the table for one of her delicious meals, and all the conversation that ensued.
