Passed away at the Vigi Reine Élizabeth on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 at the age of 87 years surrounded by her three loving children Louise, Paul (Sherry), Michael (Dana), and her godson Louis. Survived by her siblings, Josette, Francine, Georges (Monique) and Marguerite (André) and many nieces and nephews. Cherished and devoted grandmother of Danielle and Matthew (predeceased), and adoring great-grandmother of Fehryn. Madeleine loved reading, the arts, playing cards, doing jigsaw/word puzzles, while having a special place in her heart for children. Her smile, laughter, generosity and kindness will always be remembered.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to one of the following children's hospitals:
The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation or Sainte-Justine Foundation.

Mom,

There are no words to express how sad I am that I never had a chance to say a proper so long, but I know that one day we will be together again and we can catch up where we left off. It was an absolute pleasure to have you as my mother in-law. Your kindness, generosity, wisdom and humour were one of a kind! You accepted me into your life and family and loved me as if I were your own daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed our times together, whether walking in Butchart Gardens or Lake Louise, watching a movie, eating a bucket of ice cream or sampling a fine dining eatery. You taught me fine cooking, how to love the little things life has to offer, and to distinguish what's really important. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful husband in your son - Paul and fantastic brothers- Mike and Dana, sister - Louise, step children- Danielle & Matthew and of course our cherished Fehryn. We will look after one another. I love you and miss you very much, Sherry.

Paul, Sherry and family, we are so sorry for your Loss. We only met Paul's Mom a couple of times and really enjoyed her company. Madeleine was a beautiful person and we know how much she meant to you both. We know you have wonderful memories of her that will last forever. God Bless, may she Rest in Peace.
