Leo Ernest Gilbeau

November 15, 1923 - October 25, 2017

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Ernest Gilbeau on October 25, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband for 69 years of Marie and father to Terry and Lynette (Jeff). Loving grandfather to Remy, Gabrielle, Ryan, Victoria, Brennan and Martine. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Leo was the last remaining patriarch of the Gilbeau clan. An intelligent, kind and cultured man who was loved and admired by all who knew him. His passing leaves a deep void in the family. He will be forever loved.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday November, 19, 2017 at 1:00PM followed by a memorial service at 1:30PM and reception at the Mount-Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, QC H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540.

Donations in memory of Leo can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.
