Joseph Percival Stoute

March 11, 1926 - September 25, 2018

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joseph P. Stoute on 25 September 2018, at the age of 92. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty-six years, Dolly Stoute (nee Munroe). Loving father of Cary (Patty), David (Carole), Brent (Coleen) & Beverly (David) as well as cherished grandfather of Cindy (Steven), Melanie (Florian), Keith, Bonnie, Brent & Tyler.
Joseph was born in 1926 in British Guyana and relocated to Montreal in 1953 where he worked at the Montreal Gazette for 37 years.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Friday October 5th, 2018 at the Belvedere Funeral Complex in Senneville, QC with visitation at 1:00pm followed by a service at 2:00pm.

Joseph was a strong, kind and generous man who was very proud of his family. I fondly remember his friendly and jovial nature at family dinners and am very grateful for the way he welcomed me into the family. Sadly, through illness, he did not get to enjoy a well deserved retirement and suffered greatly in later years.
