It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father John Kenneth Smith on Tuesday September 3rd at La Maison de Soins Palliatifs de Laval at the age of 89.
He was born February 6, 1930 to Edwin William Smith and Nellie Thorpe in Montreal, Quebec.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Joyce Alice Stanton, his son Brian Wayne Smith and daughter Susan May Smith.
He is survived by his brother Eddie (Millie), and his 5 children Kenny (Doris), Glenn (Betty), Gary (Liz), Judy and Sharon (Mike). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The viewing will take place on Sunday September 8th between 2:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at the

The family will receive condolences at the Chapel of the Complex on Monday September 9th, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a Service at 11:00 am and a Reception from noon to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Care Fund at St. Mary’s Hospital or La Maison de Soins Palliatifs de Laval.
