After a lengthy battle with dementia, Ivi peacefully passed away on Monday, March 23rd, 2020. She will deeply be missed by her children James (Barbara), George (Sandrine) and Heleni-Maria (Lise-Ann), her grandchildren, Michael, Ellexa, Natalie, Zoe and Adrian. Ivi was a strong and determined woman who would not give up in what she truly believed in. At a young age, she came to Canada alone to build a better life. She was hard-working and very resilient. For over twenty-five years, she worked at the Jewish General Hospital where many, from security agents to doctors, referred to her as Mom. She has left a beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren which will forever live in their hearts. A private service will take place at the Mount Royal Cemetery. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the administration, doctors, nurses, and caregivers for taking such good care of our Mother the past three-and-a-half years.
