<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Monk, at 1:10 am Friday October 23rd, 2015. Gord passed away after an eighteen month battle with cancer, with his wife at his side. He was 53 years old. <br /> <br />Gord was born on June 5th. 1962, the youngest child and only son of Gloria Hilton and Ralph Monk. <br /> <br />Gord will be forever remembered and missed by his wife and best friend Gabriele, and their precious children Andrew, Aidan and Amanda, by his parents Gloria Hilton (Jean) and Ralph Monk and by his sister Karen (Reg). Gord will also be forever remembered by his extended family and dear friends. <br /> <br />Special thanks to everyone who supported him and comforted him in his final weeks, your kindness and friendship will never be forgotten. <br /> <br />Visitation will be from 12 noon until 3 pm on Saturday November 7th, 2015 at Blythe Bernier Funeral Home, 940 Ogilvy Avenue Montreal, Quebec H3N 1P4. Funeral service will immediately follow at 3 pm.</div>
