In Celebration of

Geraldine Reine Macaulay (née Morrow)

July 24, 1931 -  November 16, 2022

On Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully and with dignity at the age of 91.

Born in the Eastern Townships, in the small farming town of Island Brook. Her sense of adventure led her to Montreal, where she met her future husband, Ian. Gerry and Ian loved hosting dinner parties for family and friends. They led an active life of golfing (RMGC), curling (RMCC) and travelling. Along the way, they made many long-lasting friendships.

In her later years, Mom spent happy times back in the Townships with Harris, where she embraced a life of gardening and the great outdoors. She later returned to Montreal, reconnected with old friends and picked up croquet, where she enjoyed the friendly competition, camaraderie and plenty of laughs.

Pre deceased by her husband Ian, son Jaime and Harris Nugent (later companion). Mom is survived by her children; Bruce (Andrea), Duncan (Danielle) and Debbie. Her grandchildren Emily (Theo), Kathryn, Cailin and Connor and great grandchildren, Rosalie and Bradley.

Mom enjoyed a happy, healthy life. She was a loving mother with a kind heart, an easy smile and a strong belief in doing the right thing. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

Always in our hearts, we love you, Mom!

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Montréal Curling Club (1850 de Maisonneuve Blvd., West) on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 1-3pm.

Many thanks to the staff at Place Kensington, the CLSC's palliative care team and NOVA, for their kindness and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
