Fank Mansi

December 6, 1928 -  December 2, 2016

Frank Mansi, just shy of his 88th birthday, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016 surrounded by his family at the Montreal Neurological Hospital. Born in Montreal, Quebec to Giuseppe and Emanuela Mansi he lived his life in his beloved city of Montreal.

Frank is survived by his wife Idria of 58 years whom he loved and cherished. Frank was extremely loving and proud of his two sons, Ron (Jim) and James (Kelly). He felt immense love and pride of his two grandchildren Ryan and Logan who were always able to elicit twinkles in his eyes and immense love in his heart.

Loved by many: his brother Pat (Deedee); his sister, Lina Pinsonneault (Rolland); his sister-in-law Franca (Adamo); his departed brother-in-law Francesco (Vanna); and his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Frank was a deeply spiritual and caring man who enjoyed life and cherished the company of friends and family. After retiring, he enjoyed many a summer afternoon lawn bowling. He was also known to engage many in a rousing game of cribbage when not walking about his neighbourhood.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for Visitation, followed by a Service at noon and Reception from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt, Outremont, Quebec H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540.
