Elisabeta Sonnenwirth (née Lakatos)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, Elisabeta (Mamuti), on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the age of ninety-nine. Devoted wife of the late Gheorghe. Loving mother and mother-in-law of late Stefan, late Rodica, and Dana. Beloved and loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Tiberiu and Simona, Marius and Maria, Romulus and Cristian. Treasured and devoted great grandmother to Alexandra and Bogdan. Much-loved sister and sister-in-law of late Belà and late Gizella. Special aunt of Oecsi and Rodica. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

During her lifetime, Mamuti touched the lives of many people with her tenacious and generous spirit. She was an intelligent woman who was known for her warm smile, her great sense of humor, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband and son.
