Eileen Sacharen (née Wattling)

September 18, 1943 - September 15, 2017

We mourn the passing of Eileen, cherished wife of Hillel (Red) Sacharen of Montreal. Beloved mother of Sara (Andrew) Lang of Toronto, daughter of the late Frank and Frances Wattling, sister to David (Sandra) Wattling of Calgary, Joanie (Jim) Lindamood of Elliot Lake, "special sister" to Beverley Wattling of Montreal and sister-in-law to Roz (Sam) Chaim of Toronto. Fun aunt and great aunt to her many nieces and nephews and their children in Toronto and Calgary, and special cousin to all the Rooney family of Charlemagne. Her generous, loving and caring manner will be missed by all. Services private.

She was the sister I never had and my best friend. Always there to lend and ear, always supportive, very giving of herself and loved by many. I will miss her. She was dear to all of us. Love to Red and Sara.

Dear Hillel,
I am shocked and so sad to read about Eileen. We met just recently. Eileen was shopping with her sister Joanie; we had a wonderful visit, Eileen was sweet, funny and friendly making it feel that no time had passed. It is hard to believe that that was then and this is now. I am so so sorry for your loss; my dearest condolences to Joanie and family. Take care Hilly.
