In Celebration of

Edward (Eddy) English

August 3, 1939 -  February 8, 2020

Montreal – Edward (Eddy) English, 80, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Brossard.

He leaves behind the love of his life of 54 years, Frances Pendergast, his children, Kevin, Scott and Derek and his “son” Daniel, four grandchildren, Carson, Tristen, Erica and Alex. He also leaves behind many nephews, nieces and close friends.

Born and raised in Montreal, the youngest child of Katherine and Timothy English.
Eddy was loving and family oriented. He spent a lot of time making people laugh and being a joker for the ones he loved. Eddy was passionate about guitars and often played some Elvis songs.

He worked at Praxair and worked many years for the city of Westmount, where his wife, Frances still works part-time.

On February 18, 2020 a chapel service will be held at 4pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.

So sorry for your loss, but I truly believe he is happier now and in a better place. Remember him the way he was several years ago. I personally miss our many disagreements, LOL! We could really battle it out. I loved to sit and sing with him. So sorry I will miss the service, but as i know he loved to travel, he did hate the beach though, didn't like to get sand on his feet, I still remember him trying to get the sand off of himself and he fell in the sand, we were laughing so hard and he got really mad at us, so he will understand why we are not there. Love to all you guys. Take care.
