C’est avec un profond chagrin que nous annonçons le décès de M. Edmond (Eddy) Larocque le 1er novembre 2022 à Lévis, Québec, au cours de sa 83ème année.
Edmond laisse derrière lui ses fils : Steven (Gail Sumeraj), Eric (Yolene Picard) et sa conjointe Pierrette Jacques. Il manquera à ses petits-enfants : Steven (Amanda), Bryan (Melanie), Mitchell (Sandrine), Dylan (Gillan), Raphael, April (Bailey), Brandon, Heidi et à son arrière-petit-fils Parker Eddy. Il restera dans la mémoire des ses frères et sœurs : Edith, Hazel, Denis, Irene, ainsi qu’à la mère de ses enfants : Shirley Kane. Il fut précédé dans la mort par sa soeur Jackie et ses parents Edmond et Alfreda (née Young).

Il était plombier de métier qui monta les échelons jusqu’à gérant de division chez Black & McDonald. Au début des années quatre-vingt-dix, il fonda, avec ses deux fils, la L.E.S. Mécanique, qui est aujourd’hui sous la direction de son fils et de ses petits-enfants.

Ed était un jardinier hors-pair et éprouvait une grande fierté de son jardin de fruits et légumes, particulièrement de ses fleurs. Il adorait danser et montrer ses talents en toutes occasions, que ce soit lors de ses sorties le samedi soir ou chez-lui. Ed affectionnait les croisières et passer ses hivers en Floride.
Une célébration de sa vie se tiendra samedi 19 novembre 2022 à 16h00 au Complexe funéraire Belvédère, 22025 Transcanadienne, Senneville, Qc, H9X 0B2, 514 457-4440. La famille recevra les condoléances au même endroit à compter de 13h. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edmond (Eddy) Larocque on November 1st, 2022, in Levis, Quebec in his 83rd year.
Edmond leaves behind his sons Steven (Gail Sumeraj) and Eric (Yolene Picard) and his partner Pierrette Jacques. He will be lovingly missed by his grandchildren Steven (Amanda), Bryan (Melanie), Mitchell (Sandrine), Dylan (Gillan), Raphael, April (Bailey), Brandon, Heidi, and his great-grandson Parker Eddy.
He will be affectionately remembered by his siblings Edith, Hazel, Denis, Irene, and the mother of his children Shirley Kane. Edmond was predeceased by his sister Jackie and his parents Edmond and Alfreda (nee Young).
Edmond was a plumber by trade and moved up the ranks to Division Manager at Black and McDonald. He founded LES Mecanique in the early nineties with his two sons and today the company is managed by his son and grandchildren.
Ed was an avid gardener, taking great pride in his fruit and vegetable garden and especially his flowers. He loved to dance and showed off his skills whenever he had a chance, whether it be at a social gathering on a Saturday night or in his own home. Ed enjoyed cruising and spending winters in Florida.
A memorial will take place Saturday November 19, 2022 at 4 p.m. pm at the Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Trans-Canada Road, Senneville, Qc, H9X 0B2, 514 457-4440. The family will receive condolences on the same date from 1 to 4 p.m.
