In Celebration of

Douglas James Crozier

December 2, 1947 -  March 15, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Douglas James Crozier on March 15, 2018 in St. Lazare at the age of 70. Doug will be lovingly missed by his wife of 30 years Johanne Syms, his brother Bruce and his daughter Jennifer (Craig). He was cherished by his grandson Jonah and his brother in law Michel (John). You could always find Doug working, reading, golfing and enjoying the beauty of his backyard on a hot summer day. Doug had a love for all animals, especially his cat Sardi. Doug made a significant impact on his friends and work colleagues throughout the years and he treasured the friendships that he made. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Sunday March 25 beginning at 12:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life and reception at 2:00 p.m. at Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 route Trans-Canada, Senneville, Quebec, (514) 457-4440.

To Johanne and Doug's family,
We are shocked and saddened by the news of Doug's passing. Doug was a very good friend to us for many many years and we will miss his friendship terribly. Please know that we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. May Doug rest in peace and you find comfort in the memories you have of him.

As President of the North Country Chamber of Commerce in Plattsburgh, I had the great pleasure of working actively with Doug over many years. He was one of the most skilled, collaborative, self-effacing, effective managers I have ever known, and I am so pleased that we finally honored him as our region's Business Person on the Year in January. The legacy of his leadership in Plattsburgh, saving and repositioning Plattco, will go on for years. He is one of those people I am so glad I knew and I will always remember him with admiration and fondness.

To: Johanne, Bruce, Jennifer,

Doug was my oldest and dearest friend of 41 years. Every person that earned his friendship knows what a wonderful friend is, in good times and bad. Dougles my friend, rest in peace and know that our thoughts are with you and your family.

Condolences my niece Jennifer and to both families. It has been many years since I last saw Doug but I do remember him to be a jovial and interesting guy to be around.

Rest in peace Doug.
