Donka Petrov Doneff (known to most as “Baba”), passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on July 29th 2017 at Chateau Westmount surrounded by family. She was born on October 16th 1919 in Kilifarevo, Bulgaria and was married on March 7th 1946 to Yanko Doneff (1914-2004). She is survived by her daughter Bissera Anderson, her son-in-law Bruce Anderson and her grand-daughters Diana and Christina Anderson, in addition to her grand-dog Bilirubin.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday August 4th 2017 at 5pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 Chemin de la Forêt), followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations to “Nature Canada,” which specializes in bird conservation, would be appreciated since Baba always loved and cared for her garden birds (www.naturecanada.ca‎).
