It’s been many, many years since I’ve seen my uncle Don but I will always remember our family visits with him and Nadia. I will always remember him as being incredibly fun and outgoing. Rest in peace uncle Don.
Dear Nadia,
I was sorry to learn of Don’s passing. I enjoyed working with him during his consulting years. He was always so out going, so honest, and so knowledgeable. I loved talking horses with him and remember, with fond memories, many of our conversations.
I cannot attend the celebration of life on July 15, however I will be with you in thought.
With my fondest wishes
Carole Ann
I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing Nadia. He was such an amazing man to work with - we had so many conflict management and training adventures together. Some of my favourite memories working in this field were cases and courses I did with Don. I remember when we were teaching a course together and he wasn't feeling well. I, and others, suggested he go to the hospital to see what was going on but he stubbornly refused as he didn't want to leave the course.. Until I told him I was going to call you - and ask you what you wanted him to do. He told me that I was playing dirty! But he went... and we were all relieved to know he was ok. I learned so much from him - his quiet competence and unflappable presence no matter what the situation. Love to you and the rest of the family.
Dear Nadia
My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this sad time.
In our 46 year friendship he never complained when things were difficult even when faced with all the health issues he had in he last few years. He still
managed to be cheerful and interested in whatever someone else had to say.
Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the
answer....that was Don.
Don was elegant, charming, funny and idealistic. What a wonderful combination.
He was lucky to have been surrounded by people who loved and supported him.
I will miss him and am so grateful that he was my friend.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the service but will be watching.
Fondly
Susan Levant
