In Celebration of

Dennis Rahal

January 2, 1948 -  December 9, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Dennis Rahal. Beloved husband, father, Giddee, brother, uncle, friend to so many.

Dennis will always be remembered and cherished by his wife, Judy, his children; his late daughter Candice, his son Pascal (Josee), Kimberley (Matt), Kori (Joanna), Jason (Hind). His grandchildren James, Caden, Henley, Emmitt, Brooke, Jack, Luke, Mia, Max, his brothers Deric (Joanne) and Dwayne (Guylaine), his nieces and nephews, Mason (Johanna, children Owen and Claire), Kaid (Veronica, children Lennox and Scarlett), Alexa and Spencer as well as special friends Roey, Brian, Sharon, Steve and Sheldon and so many other people who Dennis cherished.

Dennis was predeceased by his loving parents Claire and Richard.

We want to thank all the doctors and nurses who each made a special bond with Dennis. The love and care the entire team provided to Dennis was incredible. He would always have a smile to greet the incredible team in the oncology department (D-South) at the Cedar Cancer Center at the Royal Victoria.

Dennis will always be remembered by so many for his ability to live in the moment and enjoy life. Dennis took things slow and savored special moments with family and friends. When you were talking to Dennis you could feel his full attention and keen interest to learn about any topic you had on your mind.

Dennis’ life will be celebrated at the Belvedere Funeral Complex on Sunday December 18, 2022 at 10am (22025 Trans-Canada Hwy, Senneville, H9X 0B2.) The visitation will take place from 10am to 11am followed by the service and a reception to celebrate Dennis’ life and legacy.

Dennis was a kind, elegant gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour and a heart of gold! His knowledge of history, politics and of course cars, was vast. We will cherish every moment spent together, every meal we shared, every shopping excursion and every memory we made, both at home and abroad. Judy, we are and always will be, there for you. You brought this wonderful man into our lives and we are forever grateful. We all have wonderful memories to help you through this difficult time. Sent with much love.

Dennis was the embodiment of a true gentleman, loving, caring, and we shall cherish the times we had together. We will certainly miss the banter that we shared at our many dinners together. Rest In Peace friend.
