David Creswell Findlay

November 10, 1936 - March 25, 2019

It is with sadness and broken hearts that the family of David announce his sudden passing into the Lord’s Hands on March 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; his sons Ross (Tammy); Jonathan (Josée); Geoff (Tracey); Richard (Andrea); his brothers Ronald (Marilyn-deceased) and Robert (Sandra); beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends a truly great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, April 6th 2019 from 10 a.m. at Lakeshore Evangelical Church, 470 Brookhaven, Dorval (QC) H9S 2N7 (corner Herron Road) followed by a service of remembrance at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse, clean water project, (Turn on the Tap) or a charity of your choice.

My dear Jane there are no words to express the sadness Elisha and myself feel. The long time relationship always meant so much to us. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. We are here for you to encourage and be by your side. Our arms are wrapped around you in prayer. May God give you that comfort and peace. He promìses to never leave us nor forsake us. Even though we walk through dark valleys.

To Aunt Jane and all our cousins,
We are so saddend by the loss of Uncle David and wish we could be there in person to offer some comfort. Uncle David was very special to us and did so much for us whenever we visited, always making us feel like we were so very welcomed and at home. He was loved and admired by all of us and will be truly missed. We will look for him in every rainbow, every mountaintop and every ray of sunshine we see during our travels. Sending every ounce of our love and strength during this difficult time.

We were so saddened by Dave’s sudden death., and will miss him greatly We will miss the after Sunday lunches at Wendy’s. We admire his perseverance throughout his coping with so many health issues . We shared similar interests in the Alpha program that got us involved in Lakeshore Evangelical Church, as well as a mutual interest in anything automotive. We are grateful to have known Dave, and know that we will see each other again in a better place.
