In Celebration of

Christine Hermione McIlreavy

July 9, 1932 -  February 1, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christine Hermione McIlreavy (nee Rasmussen). She died peacefully in her sleep at home on 1st February, 2020. Beloved wife of Herb for 44 years, cherished mother of Jacqueline Vaccaro and Tina Rotondi, devoted mother-in-law of Riccardo Vaccaro and Gregory Rotondi and loving grandmother of Angelina, Miguel, Evangeline and Mitchell. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law, Billy and wife Patricia and sister-in-law Kathleen and husband Charlie.

Born in England, she was a nurse all of her working life. She immigrated to Canada in 1975 and married Herb the same year. In her retirement she volunteered for many years with the South Shore “Golden Leaves” seniors group.

A service of thanksgiving for her life will be held in the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, Sherbrooke Street West at Bishop, Montreal on Friday, 21st February at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Homes Foundation or to the music program at the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul.
