Christina Julia Anderson

April 22, 1980 -  November 27, 2017

Christina Julia Anderson passed away at the age of 37 on November 27th, 2017 at the Jewish General Hospital after a long and chronic illness. She was born on April 22, 1980 in Montreal.

She attended St. Andrew’s, Roslyn, E.C.S., Marianopolis and graduated with a B.Sc. from McGill University. She loved animals and worked in the field of marine biology and especially enjoyed her travels to Kenya. She excelled in various athletic endeavors including triathlon, horseback riding, and downhill skiing. In addition to her many talents she was an avid reader of classic literature and poetry. As an accomplished graphic designer she used various media, including chalk drawings and stained glass. Her artistry includes the large and colorful stained glass panels installed in the Westmount Children’s Library.

She is survived by her parents Bruce and Bissera Anderson, her sister Diana Celina Anderson, and her dog Bilirubin.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex (1297 chemin de la Forêt), with a service at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception from 3:00-5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ehlers-Danlos Society (www.ehlers-danlos.com) or Wildlife Direct (www.wildlifedirect.org) would be appreciated.
