In Celebration of

Carolina Falcone Fasciano

July 20, 1930 -  April 19, 2020

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the age of 89. She leaves behind her four children, Maria (Atillio), Giovanna (Jean-Marc), Enzo (Lucia), Mario (Yanick). She was a proud grandmother who was adored and loved by her four grandchildren, Paola (Greg), Anthony (Giovanna), Carla (Roberto), Carolina (David), and two great-grandchildren, Amanda and Gloria.
Her family was the most important thing to her throughout her life and she will always be remembered and admired for her strength, beliefs, and love that allowed her to fight through chronic pain only to succumb to a pandemic that will forever change the world in which we live. We took comfort in seeing her face light up with a smile, and the joy she shared even in the most painful of moments.
The family would like to offer our immense gratitude to her care-giver Clarisse—a caring and compassionate lady who was always there for her. We would also like to offer our sincere thanks to Dr Nyan Narine, together with Dr Phi Ta, for their outstanding professionalism, compassion, and the standard of care that they provided. We would also like to say thank you to the dedicated nurses at Santa Cabrini Hospital, 3rd Floor.
A celebration of Carolina’s life and legacy will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Carolina's memory to carry on the fight against COVID-19 can be made at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/covid-19-fund/ and will be welcomed with gratitude.
