With profound sadness, we announced the passing of Benjamin (Benjie) Matas Jr. on February 23rd, 2021 at Jewish General Hospital. Beloved husband of Maria Concepcion, devoted father of Rafael Ron and Germaine, cherished son of the late Benjamin Matas Sr. and the late Herminia Jatico Matas. Beloved brother of Annabelle (Dr. Benjamin Sol) and Carlito (Bella). Caring brother-in-law of Fernando and of sister-in-law Maria Victoria. Uncle of Michelle (Vinmar). He leaves also in mourn his grandson Vince Miguel, his uncles Jesus and Patrocinio, his aunts Magarita, Victoria and Susana, his cousins: Jemar, Dan, Sarah, Winston, Woodrow, Tammy, Jethro, Jacob, Judith, many relatives, and friends.
A private visitation will be held on Saturday February 27th, 2021 with the Covid restrictions, it will be under invitation only. A Funeral Service will be held at the same date at 3 p.m. on Zoom link.
