It breaks my heart to know you're gone,
I'd like one more argument...just one !
But the time we spent enjoying each others spirit,
Will have to serve, when I again feel the need to be near it !
Rest In Peace......you, one of a kind , you !!!
From the 1950's to the 1980's my mother Catherine Elizabeth Harter was woman suffering from mental illness. She had been a patient of Dr. Allan Cameron from the Royal Victoria Hospital and we know today about his secret experiments with the CIA using LSD, sensory deprivation and electric shock. I believe that that treatment contributed to her decline. I was born 1962 at the Hotel Dieu and was shortly thereafter put in foster homes. I saw my mother 1x to 2x per year until her death. When I was a little boy we discovered that my mother befriended or was a recipient of charity directly from Mrs. McConnell and my mother recieved a fur coat and later on a typewriter (that the reporters used back then - a Royal). My mother told me that it was from her to me for school and I used that in highschool, Dawson College and McGill University (just before the IBM PC). I have that typewriter to this day in my living room.... Thank you Mrs. McConnell and I wanted to share this kindness with you all. Sincerely, Glenn Landry, Montreal QC.
