In Celebration of

Baby Myles Jordan Phaneuf

June 13, 2022 -  July 1, 2022

Myles Phaneuf passed away peacefully in his parents arms on July 1st 2022, at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Myles was born with a complex congenital heart defect called Double Outlet Right Ventricle with sub-pulmonary ventricular septic defect. He also had an interrupted aortic arch, and a few other cardiac issues. Although Myles was just a 6 pound baby, he had big obstacles to overcome in his first few days. He was a true fighter. He remained stable for the 10 days leading up to his surgery. He underwent the 14-hour long repair, where his heart was successfully fixed. However, it was unable to pump hard enough to support his whole body, it needed time to rest. Myles was placed on an ecmo machine in hopes his heart function would improve. He held on and kept battling to be here. Everyday he would show small signs of improvement, a testament to his courage and strength. We are so proud of the fight Myles put up. He soldiered through his short life and will always be remembered as a strong, brave little heart warrior.

Myles was only with us for 19 days but his mommy, daddy and sister will miss him tremendously, forever. He touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around him.

Mighty Myles, heaven is sure lucky to have you as an angel.

We love you Buddy

We would like to thank the entire medical staff at the Montreal Children’s hospital who provided Myles with the best care.

*In lieu of flowers, we would like to encourage a donation in Myles’ name to the Montreal Children’s Hospital.*
