Stappas, Apostolos (Paul)
Passed away on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Born on June 15th, 1936 in Sykea, Greece. Paul immigrated to Canada with his siblings in the 1960’s. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and loving everyone around him. He was predeceased by his brothers George and Nicholas. Survived and sadly missed by his siblings Despina Bravakis, Julia Karahalios, James Stappas (Anna), sister-in-law Anna Stappas, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 1, 2018 at 10:30am from Evangelismos tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 777 St Roch Street (corner de l’Epee), Park Extension, Montreal, H3N 2X2; Father Charalambos Tzintis officiating. Interment to follow at the Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 chemin de la forêt, Outremont, Montreal (514-279-7358). In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the church.
