Dear family of The Rev. Alice Iarrera
Grace and peace to you in name of Jesus Christ.
It was with sorrow that I noted the passing of The Rev. Alice Iarrera, your mother and grandmother.
The Rev. Alice’s support of your father’s long ministry at Beckwith-St. Michel was certainly a gift to the church. It must have been interesting having both father and mother who were clergy.
Her ministry in Norwich and Bookton, Ontario was a further gift to the church for which I am thankful. Her ministry made a difference in the lives of those she touched.
I pray that the God of all comfort will be near you, offering you the hope of the resurrection which is the heart of the Christian faith and the promise of the Holy Spirit’s presence to strengthen and support you. May the assurance of Psalm 23 be very real to you at this time: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
In the hope of the resurrection,
Peter Bush
