Passed away quietly at the Grace Dart Extended Care Centre on April 1st, 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Simeon (2014). She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan (David Merrett); granddaughters Victoria (Steve Lacoste) and Wendy (Garrett Austin); great-grandchildren Graeme, Juliana, Sydney and Kristina; her extended family and friends. In addition to her life as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Baba), Della worked for more than 25 years at Singer Furniture in Montreal East and especially enjoyed attending and representing the company at the annual furniture shows. She was very fond of dancing with her favourite partner Lorne, was an accomplished bowler, and loved going to the horse races in Montreal and Saratoga NY. The family would like to thank the many doctors and caregivers who provided her with such comfort and compassionate care during her final days. As per her wishes, a private family service will be held
